Unique Wallpaper art for your home

Posted on April 26, 2020April 26, 2020 by bethshehata

I’m trying to get back into the habit of regularly telling you about independent brands. We all know I’m a big fan of unique interiors and quirky pieces (you just have to take a look around my home), but I know it can be difficult to find brands when all you’re faced with is the high-street.

This week I stumbled across Barry Spence, instantly fell in love with his wallpapers and mural designs and wanted to share them with you. Barry independently designs, creates and transforms all of his work into wallpapers and murals.

All images shared with the permission of Barry Spence

Barry’s designs are created with layers of paint that he describes as “intense and unplanned flurries” the concept is they are designed to look like very old paintings.  He has a wealth of experience with qualifications in Scientific Illustration and working as a Designer and Separation Artists for 12 years. Barry went on to work with a well-known wallpaper company as a freelance artist and then designing for an upcoming wallpaper company more recently before he started his own brand.

They really are beautiful eye catching pieces, that can add a real statement to any room. I’d recommend perusing  through his Instagram account to see some of his gorgeous designs in people’s homes.

Barry’s designs are only available to order from him direct so you can reach out to him on @barryspenceartist via Instagram or e-mail barryspence@yahoo.co.uk

Prices are

Wallpaper Murals = £35 per sqM

Repeat Pattnern Wallpapers
52cm x 10M = £120
80cm x 10m = £150

(Prices are accurate as of April 2020)

As always, any questions please let me know or reach out to Barry direct!
